Joinery Services plays its part in new fun complex

Joinery Services has been involved in an exciting new entertainment complex to come to Letterkenny in County Donegal before Christmas.

Century will boast a movie-house, restaurant and an ice rink as well as a soft play centre named Century Play.

Joinery Services was the firm elected to manufacture the counter and worksurfaces for the cafe in the soft play centre.

Work surfaces were manufactured from Hanex.

MD of Joinery Services Michael Scott said: “Hanex was a brilliant choice for this particular job.

“Its signature seamless fabrication means it is hygienic and therefore the perfect choice for food preparation and serving areas, particularly where young children are involved”.

Joinery Services sharpens its image

For the managing director of Joinery Services, Michael Scott, the wait is over and he can open the doors of his brand new premises and get work underway in the new 7000 sq ft workshop.

The new Joinery Services HQ is located in the up-and-coming Sydenham Business Park, a hub of commerce between Belfast and Holywood on the edge of Belfast Lough.

The purpose-built new workplace is a huge step up from the joinery company's previous premises in Carryduff which consisted of a much smaller workshop and small office.

Looking round his new premises Michael said he is still in awe of what the company has achieved.

“If someone had told me I would one day have a place like this I would never have believed them,”  he said.

“I was immensely proud of my first workshop but this is on a different scale altogether and brings it all home how far we have come.”

“Having all this space has allowed us the freedom to create our own environment. We have taken shipping containers and cut and welded them into an artistic office space. We have been allowed a chance to freely create a totally unique working environment.”
